 Ruth Ismerio has been our church secretary and clerk since 1999. Prior to that, Ruth taught six years in the public school system in Brazil and has also taught at the Berlitz School of Languages in Orange County, CA.
Ruth is a native of Brazil and speaks Portuguese, Spanish and English. She is a charter member of Orange Coast Church and has held numerous church offices including, Children's Bible Teacher, Youth Leader and Women's Ministry Coordinator.
While living in Brazil, Ruth attended Educandario Nordestino Advestista College and Catholic University, where she obtained her Bachelor's degree in education. She came to the U.S. in 1978 and furthered her education at Orange Coast College and Saddleback College.
When you visit Orange Coast Church you will meet Ruth as you enter. She will be at the information table. After talking with Ruth, even for a minute, you will immediately sense her love for people and Christ.
Ruth is a widow and has one adult daughter.
